COPYWRITER – For Royal Caribbean Cruises in Miami. Write and proof copy from conception to completion in online and print, including ads, articles, headlines, collateral, direct mail, online copy, special projects. This role reduces our dependency on external agencies. GENERAL ASSIGNMENT REPORTER – For the Sun-Sentinel in its Palm Beach County office. The successful candidate is aggressive and enterprising with a proven track record of developing relevant and timely enterprise stories for 1A and 1B centerpiece treatment. Must have a strong news sense, good story judgment, and the instinct and skill to go after the story of the day. An engaging writing style is essential. Collaborate with other reporters and anchor major breaking news coverage as assigned. Must have a commitment to reporting on all platforms: online, print and television. May include weekend and/or night shifts. WRITER – For The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, within the Department of Anesthesiology. Be responsible for medical writing and editing, public relations development, and research support. Be heavily involved in drafting and editing grant proposals, medical publications, and reports. Assist with writing speeches, articles, and public relations releases. Requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in English or in a health-related field, and 1 year relevant experience. Master’s degree with 3 years medically relevant experience is preferred. Must be familiar with a variety of medical and/or research concepts, practices, and procedures. Must have outstanding writing and editing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, searching strategies (Collexis, PubMed, etc.), and publishing software, and familiarity with database creation, maintenance, and analysis (Excel, Access, etc.).
