COMMUNICATIONS INTERN/ASSISTANT – Paid for The International SeaKeepers Society, an international marine-conservation charity based in South Florida. Create and update website content. Streamline/manage database. Assist in developing media and invitation lists. Write and distribute news releases. Assist in collateral development and distribution and in coordinating national and international special events. Develop and maintain social media presence. COMMUNICATIONS INTERN – Unpaid and for-credit for Voices For Children Foundation in Miami, the fundraising arm of the 11th Judicial Circuit Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) Program, with the goal of ensuring that a Guardian Ad Litem represents every abused child in Miami-Dade County. Assist the communications specialist in the execution of internal and external communications, marketing, and advertising efforts. Be responsible for examining current training materials (print, job aids, Captivate, STT, etc.) and recommending modifications to be made for the adult learner. Be involved in the actual development and modifications to new and existing training materials. Provide Instructional Design expertise on any new training modules.
